Return and Refund Policy
At Planthropi, your satisfaction is our priority. Due to the delicate nature of shipping live plants and trees, our return policy is designed to ensure a balance between customer satisfaction and maintaining the viability of our products.
Return Policy
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for live plants or trees due to their fragile nature.
Returnable Items
We accept returns for garden supplies and hard goods, including fertilizers, planting mixes, eco pots, and watering bags. To be eligible for return:
· Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
· Returns must be initiated within 15 days of delivery.
· Damaged or tampered items are not eligible for return.
Replacements and Store Credit
Quality Issues
If a plant or tree arrives significantly damaged or beyond recovery, we may provide a replacement or store credit based on the specific circumstances.
Store Credit Details
· Credit will equal the purchase price paid at the time of order (including sale prices).
· Store credit for non-shippable fruit or citrus products will be issued in cases where USDA or state regulations prevent shipping to your location. This credit can be used for future purchases and does not expire.
Transition Process
Plants may experience minor changes such as dropped leaves or slight variations in size during shipping. These are normal parts of the transition process and do not qualify for returns, replacements, or refunds.
Return Process
1. Initiating a Return
Contact us at sales@simplytrees.com to begin the return process. Provide clear photos of the item and the reason for the return. Return eligibility is determined solely by Simply Trees.
2. Refunds
· Store credit will be provided for damaged plants that cannot recover. Store credit is sent as an e-gift card and can be used immediately.
· For order cancellations within 12 hours, a refund to the original payment method is available. A 25% restocking fee applies if the order has already been fulfilled but not yet shipped. Orders already shipped cannot be canceled.
3. Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the wrong item was shipped. Use original packaging whenever possible and return items via UPS.
Exceptions and Special Cases
· Damaged in Transit: If an item is damaged during its return shipment, no refund will be issued. For items damaged upon delivery to you, we will offer a replacement or store credit without requiring a return.
· Exchanges: Exchanges are only offered if you received the wrong product.
Notification Process
· Return Acceptance: You will receive an email once your return has been approved.
· Refund Notification: Once a refund is processed, we will notify you via email. Please allow 2-5 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.
